The congregation is so grateful to Joe and Annie Silipo who came to speak at our Winter Workshop! Their honest hearts to love and serve God were a great encouragement to all of us. They currently serve in the ministry in the Los Angeles International Church of Christ, and will be moving soon to Milan, Italy to lead the church there.
Brothers, just wanted to share some good news with you all. In the beginning of August of this year the church in Santo Domingo planted a church in the east in La Romana. And in the last 10 weeks God has blessed with 5 baptisms!!! And an attendance of over 60 on Sundays (20 disciples). This past Friday the men had an informal mens forum and 9 brothers saw 25 of there friends come out to
church and more than half committed to studying the Bible. Something really special about these first baptisms is that 3 of the 5 are family (2 brothers and a sister in law), the husband of the couple baptized, apologized to his wife before his baptism for all that he had put her through and committed before God to becoming a changed man.
