What we\'ve been up to...

Our Heels for Hope team has so far raised money and awareness for the AIDS orphans plight in Africa. Pactimo donated these shirts and Kian put together our team.

Good and Pleasant
by Steve Johnson : August 17th, 2010
In Psalm 133:1 we read, "How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!" No other verse comes to mind quicker than this one for me right now. Coming back from Tacoma I am overjoyed with the tremendous fellowship we had with brothers and sisters from all over the Pacific Northwest and Canada. And especially inspired by the dynamic messages Shawn Wooten delivered.
I am so thankful to have brothers like Scott Terrell who can stand in the gap and take care of services here in my absence.
I am especially grateful that Lisa was able to make it to and through the conference...our first trip away from home since her diagnosis. Please keep her in your prayers.

I wrote you all about the contribution. In the... More »

And another and another...
by Steve Johnson : August 12th, 2010
Congratulations to Steve and Kathryn Beeson on the birth of Claire Antoinette born Wednesday, August 11th...yesterday! One way or another, the kingdom keeps growing and God keeps blessing our fellowship. We're so happy mother and child are fine and dad is delirious as it is meant to be. God bless the Beesons.

We have a great congregation. Any good things that happen, God gets the glory. Still, I am so thankful to be part of a group of disciples who refuse to give up no matter what is thrown at them.
We have brothers and sisters who are constantly battling health issues of one sort or another. This past week, Don Cassel found out he has two spots on his lungs and they will begin radiation treatment. So far the cancer had been showing up in his brain and only two weeks ago he shared how that cancer had shrunk and some disappeared all together. Don is so faithful and will face this disappointing news the same way he's faced all of his challenges so far. Along with Frank Ashley, Julian Murquia, Gye Hobbs and so many others, Don is a brother who covets our prayers and... More »
