What is Mutuality?
Mutuality is a concept, coined by our esteemed Lisa Johnson, that refers to the way scripture regards men and women as equal partners in both the church and in the home. The term itself came about after years of intense study of scripture surrounding the roles of men and women in the Bible. Since its conception in the early 2000s, Lisa has worked tirelessly to provide all with the study materials needed to understand some of the more confusing passages in the Bible pertaining to gender roles.
The principles of mutuality can be applied in marriage, friendship, and in all walks of life. Our goal of sharing these materials is to help us realize the dream of a church being a community with no barriers.
